Station 3, at the south end of White Beach, has the most affordable guesthouses and puts you within walking distance of D'Mall and the main beach strip. The inland roads behind Stations 2 and 3, one block off the beachfront, cut accommodation costs noticeably while keeping the water under a 5-minute walk.

Getting around

  • Fly into Caticlan (MPH) over Kalibo (KLO). Caticlan is a 10-minute ferry crossing to the island. Kalibo is cheaper airfare but adds a 2-hour bus ride each way.
  • Shop at Talipapa Market near Station 2 for fresh seafood, fruit, and snacks. You can get a full meal's worth of ingredients for a fraction of what the beachfront restaurants charge.
